During the six day process of the upanayana-saṁskāra (sacred-thread ceremony) + samāvarttanam-saṁskāra with avabhṛtha-snānam (early Vedic graduation ceremony performed for the sake of completing the conventional formality) of Vaṭu Soham Chatterjee/Chaṭṭopādhyāya {Gotram – Kāśyapa; Pravara – Raivasa Bhārgavīya; Veda – Śukla Yajurveda Vājasaneyi Saṁhitā; Śākhā – Mādhyandina; Sūtra – Āpastamba-śrauta + Āpastamba-gṛhya Sūtras; Kānyakubjīya Pañca-gauḍa Baṅga-kulīna Brāhmin of Rāḍhīya Śreṇī}  held from the bygone Akṣaya-tṛtīyā on Saturday, 29th April 2017 AD (adhivāsam) + Sunday, 30th April (upanayanam) till  Thursday, 4th of May (saṅkṣipta-samāvarttanam; from Monday 1st of May till Wednesday 3rd of May – the vaṭu was kept in tridivasīya brahmacarya-vrata where he was not allowed to interact with anyone else except his yajñācārya – and the vātu is continuing the celibacy even after samāvarttanam as part of the bṛhad-vrata) at Śrīdhāma Rādhākuṇḍa (Ariṣṭa-grāmah – Vraja/Śūrasena/Māthura-maṇḍala, Āryāvartta, West UP, Uttara Bhārata) – the yajñācārya purohita Prabodhānanda Śāstrī Jī & the observer —  Brahma-sūtra’s Rasikānanda-bhāṣyakāra Śrī Ānandagopāladāsa Vairāgī Jī ‘Utkalīya-vipra’ (initiated in Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava Sampradāya – Śyāmānanda-parivāraḥ from the disciplic lineage of Brahma-sūtra’s Govinda-bhāṣyakāra Śrīpāda Baladeva Vidyābhūṣaṇa ‘Utkalīya-vipra’ aka Ekānti-govinda-dāsa Gosvāmī ‘Vairāgī’) – conferred upon him (Soham Chatterjee) the name of Nirañjana Brahmacārī. The 6 images of the whole ceremony done according to the purely Vedic manual/compendium Sat-kriyā-sāra-dīpikā (composed by 16th Century CE Gaudīya-vaiṣṇava-smṛty-ācārya Śrīla Gopāla-bhaṭṭa-gosvāmipāda ‘Vairāgī’ – ex- Gopāla Bhaṭṭara – the child of Pujārī Veṇkaṭa Bhaṭṭara of Śrī Raṅgama – Rāmānuja Sampradāya; Śrīla Gopālabhaṭṭa Gosvāmī is Guṇa-mañjarī Sakhī in the nitya-vraja-līlā of Rādhā-Govinda) which is based on the ananya-govinda-upāsanātmaka-anuṣṭhānam. The biological parents of the Vaṭu can be seen, too, named as Śrīyuta Suddipta (Sudipto) Chaṭṭopādhyāya & Śrīmati Sudevī/Kuhelī Mukhopādhāyaya Chaṭṭopādhyāya.

Especially, noteworthy are the procedures of ‘tri-puṇḍra-dhāraṇam’ (three horizontal lines which, generally, only smārttas and śaivas have on their forehead) done with Rādhākūṇda-mṛttikā (the sacred clay of Rādhākuṇḍa – whose glorification is given in Purāṇas) and the Rudrākṣa-bīja-mālā-dhāraṇam (the wearing of the Rudrākṣa garland, traditionally, worn by the smārttas and śaivas/śāktas/gāṇapatyas/kārttikeyas) – which are permitted by the orthodox classical tradition of upanayanam as done in the Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava Sampradāya.

The original inspiration for such procedure was given by us.
